Large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
10 cloves
Garlic, minced
2 cups
Sherry cooking wine
6 medium
Onions, diced
10-1/2 lbs
Angela Mia® Whole Peeled Pear Tomatoes with Fresh Basil, chopped small, retaining juice
1/4 tsp
Kosher salt
1/4 tsp
Black pepper
3 lbs
Fettuccine pasta, cooked al dente and drained

Directions

  1. Step 1

    Heat oil in large skillet. Add shrimp, sauté until cooked. Remove shrimp from pan.

  2. Step 2

    Add garlic to same pan shrimp was cooked in and sauté about 30 seconds.

  3. Step 3

    Deglaze pan with sherry.

  4. Step 4

    Add onion. Sauté until liquid evaporates and onion is soft.

  5. Step 5

    Add chopped Angela Mia® Whole Peeled Pear Tomatoes, undrained. Simmer until sauce begins to thicken.

  6. Step 6

    Add shrimp back to pan. Keep warm.

  7. Step 7

    Add salt and pepper.

  8. Step 8

    Serve immediately over pasta of your choice.
