RED WINE AND GARLIC SAUCE

Extra virgin olive oil

Shallot
3 tbsp
Garlic
2 tbsp
Red wine, Malbec
2-1/2 cups
6 cups
Salt
1/2 tsp

Directions

  1. Place a medium-size saucepan over a high flame.

  2. Add olive oil, shallots and garlic. Sweat until tender.

  3. Add wine, and reduce by 50%.

  4. Add pizza sauce and bring to a boil. Simmer for 20 minutes. Season with salt.
