Ways To Pop: - Stovetop - Microwave - Air Popper - Electric Popper For microwave, hot air, or electric poppers, follow manufacturers' instructions. Reseal jar and store at room temperature. We recommend preparing with Orville Redenbacher's Popping & Topping Oil for best taste. For Perfect Stovetop Popcorn: Popping Corn Oil for Popping 3 Tbsp 1 Tbsp 1/4 cup 2 Tbsp 1/2 cup 3 Tbsp Pour corn and oil into a 3-quart saucepan with tight-fitting lid. Cover and heat, shaking pan occasionally until corn begins to pop. Once popping slows to 2-3 seconds between pops, remove from heat. Empty into bowl and season to taste.
