Preparation/Cooking Instructions
STORE remaining portions in tightly sealed shallow plastic container or storage bag. Date container. Refrigerate or freeze. HANDLING TIPS: Temperatures in excess of 160°F will cause the flavor and texture to break down. This product may be thinned with a small amount of water, milk or compatible liquid. Opened tins may be covered and stored under refrigeration for up to two weeks. APPLICATIONS: Use as a topping over sandwiches, vegetables, fish and Mexican specialties or as an ingredient in au gratin dishes and casseroles. PUMP DISPENSER: • Set pump temperature to 200°F. • Remove label and lid from cheese sauce can and place into sanitized pump canister. • Place pump over cheese sauce. • Heat until serving temperature of 160°F is reached; reduce pump temperature to 140°F. MICROWAVE: • Empty cheese sauce into covered microwave-safe container. • Heat on HIGH for 10 minutes or until temperature reaches 160°F. Stir at intervals. • Serve.
