1-1/2 quarts
Egg Beaters® 100% Egg Whites
2 tbsp
Cinnamon, ground
1-1/2 tsp
Nutmeg, ground
4-1/2 cups
Coarse raw sugar
48 slices
Bread, Texas Toast
Assorted Berries, optional

Directions

  1. Step 1

    Lightly spray flat-top griddle with PAM® High Yield Canola Cooking Spray. Preheat griddle to 400°F.

  2. Step 2

    Combine milk, Egg Beaters® 100% Egg Whites, cinnamon and nutmeg. Whisk until blended and set aside.

  3. Step 3

    Place sugar in a shallow pan in an even layer; set aside.

  4. Step 4

    Dip bread in Egg Beaters® mixture and place on hot griddle. Cook 2-3 minutes on each side or until lightly browned.

  5. Step 5

    Lightly press both sides of cooked French toast in sugar; place back on griddle 1 minute on each side or until sugar has caramelized.

  6. Step 6

    Serve with assorted berries, if desired.
